It is so easy to fall into complacency and to let the enemy tell you lies. #FreeFromComplacency

Let’s be real for a minute. It is so easy to become complacent. I’m convinced that the enemy waits for you to lower your guard just a centimeter and then he tries to get in your head and feed you lies. Lies like…”you aren’t good enough, you aren’t pretty enough, you aren’t thin enough…or “you are failing as a mom, it’s just a matter of time before you will fail as a wife, at your job or profession or if you REALLY were a follower of Jesus you would be a lot better person than you are..” he will blind you from everything that is going right to remind you of your weaknesses. He will create negative thoughts and feelings base on past experiences or current situations to draw your attention to his little plot and twists to simply to get you right where he wants you. All over sudden, your attitude change towards those around you. You begin to complain about things you should be grateful for. You begin to complain about things you have no control over. Instead of living in gratitude you become the most ungrateful person. You become overly sensitive, bitter, angry, jealous, envious about everything and everyone. Your language and thoughts about yourself and those around you suddenly changed. You started comparing yourself and hate who you are base on world view. UGH I hate the enemy so much. He’s a freaking liar sweet friends. Don’t believe a word he says! God is good! I love that “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me” – Psalm 138:8. Like every working single mother, there are multiple tasks I have to accomplish in a day besides school, personal devotion and ministry. It gets overwhelmed at time. While I have to prioritize but also vow to take it easy on myself and tell myself that whatever didn’t get done today will get done tomorrow. Whatever went wrong today will be better tomorrow. I give myself a little more grace every day and give thanks with a grateful heart for the perfect gifts of 2 beautiful, healthy and loving little girls I get the privilege to raise and be their role model. But, above all I have Jesus who is the best thing in my life and the best thing that’s ever happened to me. What do I have to complain about?! Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Don’t forget to remind yourself how blessed you are too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It is so easy to fall into complacency and to let the enemy tell you lies. Don’t do it sweet sister. Throw his awful lies back in his face and SHUT HIM DOWN. He was defeated by Jesus and you have the power to defeat him now. Don’t let him convince you that you are anything less than amazing. You are so beautiful in Jesus’ sight and you are a jewel to Him. Don’t forget it. — Flore ❤✨💫⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
