Stop agreeing with the lies of the enemy and start fighting by believing the promises of God. Shut every door of lies with the arrows of God’s word.

Bring your life, all of it, the good, the bad and the worthless. I take broken down moves on trade in. Believe in Me as your Savior and I will redeem your life with gifts you cannot contain. I will replace your despair with joy, your ashes for beauty, your heart hack with hope. (See Matt.11:27, Luke 4:18-19) #Redeemed

In my personal study time this week, I was reminded about a few things as it relates to my salvation. New prospective and new light was shed. I had no doubt about my salvation but I needed to be reminded. The holy spirit has a way of speaking to us even though we’ve read a scripture a thousand times but He never fell to bring new revelations to us each time. As I was preparing to lead this week’s lesson with my ladies group at my church, I couldn’t help to think about how the gift of salvation redeems my life. The blood that was shed, his adoption, His love, Grace and mercy, how He set me free from shame and pay the price for me. A price I would never be able to pay on my own. God removes the marks against me with a Holy exchange for His glory. Have you ever meet someone who believed the past would always count against them? Have you ever felt that all your mistakes must surely add up somewhere to weight the scales against you? To be redeemed means that God supernaturally makes you worthy of his love, even if you ever thought that could happen for you. The bible says: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” -Colossians 1:13-14

Praise God for salvation takes the worthless and makes them righteous. He made me righteous. I have been reconciled by God, redeemed saved from condemnation, made children of God, forgiven, justified through Christ Jesus and I have been made object of God’s Love, Grace, Power, Peace, Consolation and Intercession. His Faithfulness. He has given me life instead of death. He restored my peace. He renewed my hope. He gives me perspective I had lost in my overwhelmed life. My old life has been exchanged to new plans and new purpose. “For He chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” Ephesians 1:4 NIV

It feels great to be reminded of what God says about my past, my present and my future. My chains are gone, I have been set free. No more guilt, no more shame. My past is over! I am a child of the living God. Today, know who you are and who’s you are. We serve a healing God. He makes all things new and will restore and redeem what is rightfully his. You are His! Stand strong on the promises of God. Run away from the enemy’s tricks, lies and distractions! You are love, chosen, accepted, redeemed, healed, restored, made new and blameless from ashes to beauty. No matter what your past looks like, your future is brighter with in and in Him. Stop agreeing with the lies of the enemy and start fighting by believing the promises of God. Shut every door of lies with the arrows of God’s word. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Roman 8:1-2
