“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food … yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” – (Habakkuk 3:17-19)
Sometimes it seems like no one understands or cares about us, and that can feel pretty lonely. But no matter how bad we feel, we are never alone. God is always present, and his love for us never changes. How do I know that? I have lived and experienced pain, lost, betrayal, loneliness, fear, doubts and the made belief lies the enemy told me. He often reminds me of my past weaknesses and insecurities. Truth is, God is with me, ALWAYS, even in the mist of the pain, trials, tribulations, loneliest, lowliest, darkness hours, doubts, fears and insecurities. The trials made me STRONGER and WISER. TRIALS OFTEN REVEAL WEAKNESSES IN US TO HELP REMIND US OF HOW MUCH WE NEED TO DEPEND UPON GOD ALL THE MORE TO BRING ABOUT CHANGE – BRING ABOUT SPIRITUAL GROWTH. His UNSPEAKABLE JOY overflows my heart daily. His is with me and with Him I cannot fail and will NEVER walk alone. Let me remind you that His promises are true.
Today, I celebrate His FREEDOM and FAITHFULNESS in my life! My heart is forever shaped for the future. You can and you will to. Look to HIM.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — (Romans 8:38-39)
I know it can be painful to be alone. And I know the thoughts of being set aside are loud and overwhelmingly tempting to believe in the hollows of feeling unnoticed and uninvited.
But as you pray through your feelings, see if maybe your situation has more to do with you being prepared than you being overlooked.
There is something wonderfully sacred that happens when a girl chooses to look past being set aside to see God’s call for her to be set apart.
Hang on to God’s truths today, Our God is forever faithful! Remember God will never formed you, knitted you in your mother’s womb, put you on and leave you all by yourself. He alows us to go through heartache and pain so our faith can grow stronger and deeper in Him. He first loved us. He chose you for such a time as this. John 15:16a, “You didn’t choose me. I chose you.” (NLT)
If loneliness, depression, discouragement is settling down on you like a cold fog today, warm up the sunbeams of a promise of scripture. Search through the Bible until you find the very promise God has for you today. Be like Abraham who did not waver at the promise, but was strengthened in faith, fully persuaded that God has the power to do what He had promised.
“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”
Romans 4:20-21 NIV
