Today, don’t worry, trust!

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;”‭— 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭
Are you worried about a need in your life right now? Perhaps you’ve forgotten how often God’s promises to meet all of our needs as we trust him.
“I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging bread.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:25‬ ‭
“Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭34:9-10‬ ‭
“……..for God has been gracious to me and I have all I need…….”—Genesis‬ ‭33:11‬ ‭
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”—Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭
Your Heavenly Father is a great provider, and in Christ we have all His promises and all our provisions. Today, don’t worry. Trust.

If the son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Be Free!

Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. — 1 Corinthians 9:19
Grace frees us from the law of sin and death. But, our freedom is not to be used for rebellion or for self-gratification. Instead, we are to use our freedom redemptively, just as Jesus did (cf. Philippians 2:5-11). We can voluntarily limit that freedom to help others still caught in bondage to sin and false ideas about God. We can use the freedom of the Spirit to be transformed to be like Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). Let’s use our freedom to rejoice and to bless.
