Give thanks with a grateful heart….#GiveThanks

I am in love with the little family God gave me! Sooo much has gone wrong but today, I am just going to focus on the right ones. I am in AWE of God’s Might Strong Hands on my life, how He carried me by the hand through the storms of life, how He covered, shielded and protected my family.  

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

No matter what today reminds you of your past, good, bad or ugly, find at least 3 things you are grateful for and give thanks with a grateful heart. Today, I am grateful for Jesus who is #EverythingToMe, Life, Health, my Beautiful Family, for 2 Healthy, Amazing, Loving Princesses and supporting friends like you….

Thankful for the hurt, the pain, the highs, the lows, the set backs, the come backs, the lessons, the loss, the betrayals and adversities…. All came only to make me STRONGER. Where would I be if not for His Grace. Gras Ou Sufi!!! So today, I give Thanks unto Him for His Goodness, His Faithfulness, His Grace, His Love, His Mercy and His Peace. The JOY of The Lord is our strength forever.

Today, Be thankful for God’s Grace. Take time to reflect on it and share his grace.

It is refreshing to know that today I don’t have to fight or toil. I just need to be aware of what’s already been done on my behalf. This hope, this unmerited undeserving favor of God is hard to explain. Grace means God moving heaven and earth to save sinners who could not lift a finger to save themselves. Moral and Spiritual decline happens to individuals before it happens to nations. Commit to keeping God’s Words at the core in your life. Apply yourself wholly to the text; apply the text wholly to yourself. You will be amaze by your growth. You will be more sensitive to sin and what will grieve the Holy Spirit. I will not only be hungry for God’s truth but be transformed in His truth. It won’t matter what the world is doing or feel left out and alone in the crowd because you know who’s you belong to. You will live your life on purpose. You will stand strong in faith and ignore the enemy’s lies. Stronger moral and spiritual individuals make a stronger nations. I am working on me as an individual and I thank God for not giving up on me yet!

|| How often do we compromise ourselves in the name of fun? In the name of “staying in the loop”? Let me tell you, one of the hardest things God has asked of me is to give up certain TV shows. I knew that what happened in these shows were not good foods to feed my mind, but I couldn’t let go. In the end, I’ve given up a good number of shows and now I barely have time for TV. It has opened my time to spend doing homework or studying the word of God, taking care of my children, spending quality time with loved ones, writing music, singing, doing things that’s meaningful and purposeful… I have more time to spend with friends and loved ones. || it’s crazy how our purity can be jeopardized by things as simple as TV, the Internet, music, etc. But each of these are gateways to immorality and sin. Not everyone feels led to give up things in the name of purity, but I’ll tell you that it is a beneficial discipline for all who choose it. I want to ask you, “what is a challenge to give up in your life right now?” Pray about it. Talk with God. Allow Him to guide you down the path of purity. There is freedom on the other side.

Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13) The bridegroom is Jesus Christ, and this parable describes His return.

The five virgins who have the extra oil represent the truly born again who are looking with eagerness to the coming of Christ. They have saving faith and have determined that, whatever occurs, be it lengthy time or adverse circumstances, when Jesus returns, they will be looking with eagerness. The five virgins without the oil represent false believers who enjoy the benefits of the Christian community without true love for Christ. They are more concerned about the party than about longing to see the bridegroom. Their hope is that their association with true believers (“give us some of your oil” of verse 8) will bring them into the kingdom at the end. This, of course, is never the case. One person’s faith in Jesus cannot save another. The “Lord, lord” and “I do not know you” of verses 11 and 12 fit very well with Jesus’ condemnation of the false believers of Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”
May we not be found “going away to make the purchase” (v. 10) when Christ returns. Take the time now to fill your lamp with oil and take extra along. Keep waiting and watching with joy and anticipation.
