The Secret Place #Prayer

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭91:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
There is something so sweet about the secret place. Sometimes it is a lonely place… You may feel forgotten, alone.. But as I grow older I’m learning this is the sweet spot of life. Tucked away, hidden, God is developing, equipping, growing and birthing things deep within that no one can take away, making you unstoppable. I’m also learning to pray more about the situation, than talk about it. I tend to talk about things, vent, yet that leaves me in the same position as to where I started. Yet when I pray about whatever I am going through, things begin to happen, change, and God works on my behalf and “fixes” things that I could never do on my own! I encourage you today, whatever you are facing, create a secret place… This place is where you will find everything that you need.

“Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. #FaithfulGod

Sometimes God takes you to places where only you and He can go. While your family and loved ones might want to travel with you, there are parts of your life’s journey where it will just be you and God.
I believe that it is in these moments where we are completely stripped raw…and we find out just how much we trust God, and how much we depend upon our own ingenuity.
He will use our journey to perfect us, to flush out the flaws, to work in us and through us…but will we allow him to? It’s so much easier to do things for ourselves, than to wait for God’s answer…but is our answer the best answer? Or is it a temporary fix?
I have found that God will allow us to find the deepest abyss, and when we are all out of answers…He is still there. He is still waiting. And He is still ready to show us unmerited love and limitless GRACE.
When the hard times come, I am not always grateful in the moment. But I am often reminded that He has a much bigger plan than I could ever dream of…and I need to trust that this leg of my journey will be significant when I look back and say, “AHA! Thank you for pushing me to THIS place!” Your GRACE finds me!
“Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.” – Joel‬ ‭2:23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Looking for answers? Look up to The FAITHFUL one today! #FaithfulGod

He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. —Psalm 147:4
As I meditated on this verse, I can’t help to think about how the Bible celebrates the mighty power and infinite understanding of God who “counts the number of the stars” and “calls them all by name” (Ps. 147:4). Yet the Creator of the universe is not a remote, uncaring force, but a loving Heavenly Father who “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (v.3). “The Lord lifts up the humble” (v.6) and “takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy” (v.11). He loves us so much that “He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “The very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:7). We truly serve a GREAT God! I can’t think of anyone like HIM. Whatever it is you are facing today, know that He is right there with you! He knows you, He cares, He loves you and He will work ALL things together for your good.

“Searched all over, couldn’t find nobody. I looked high and low, still couldn’t find nobody. Nobody GREATER, Nobody GREATER, Nobody GREATER than you!!!”

Bask in His presence, spend time reading His word, stand on His promises today friends!

Rejoice in The Lord ALWAYS!

Are you growing? Are you watering the truth in your life? Whatever you water will grow. #Blog

Whatever you water will grow. Each thought is a seed. You can’t control which seeds decide to land in the garden of your mind; they arrive on the winds of life without permission or warning. Water the fear, and the fear grows like a hydroponic plant in a sun-drenched greenhouse. Water the truth, and you find yourself in an increasingly sustaining state of hope, joy, and serenity. It’s a choice. I know it doesn’t always feel like a choice, and it is a practice that you will grow over time with patience and commitment, but in the end, it is a choice: to allow fear to run the show or to take the risk and open your heart to love. “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” – Ephesians 4:15-16

Are you growing? Are you watering the truth in your life? Remember you are a flower. Don’t water your problems, ineffectiveness, your doubts and your fears. Just a thought.

Be Blessed,
