During my walk today I was thinking out loud about a series of things as far as personal goals, ministry and my family. Part of it was my album release party due in the fall which I am super excited about. I started to beat myself up for the length of time it took me to get to where I am now with my project. Then, I had to stop and thank the lord for some of the positive things in my life and how He has brought me from a mighty long way. I started thanking Him for this music project, the experience of writing, composing and recording has been simply amazing. It has been an amazing journey by far with some amazing producers. Certainly not the way I envisioned it but just perfect and then I was quickly reminded that God’s ways are perfect. His plans are better than mines. His thoughts are not my thoughts, not even closed. I was reminded that when the lordship of Jesus is a settled issue in the Christian’s life, all other issues are settled. I am the Lord’s. He is the head of my life and everything goes according to His plans when you’ve submitted your plans and lives to Him. Anyways, I know a lot of you have been praying for me and patient with me through this entire journey but you must know that your prayers are not in vain. We are getting really close to the finish line. Recordings are now completed. Let me tell you that God is going to get the glory out of this project. Ok!? Keep praying and Hang in there!
