Right now is not forever. The pain you are feeling right now, will not last forever. The obstacle you are trying to overcome, will not last forever. The hardship you are enduring, will not last forever.
Right now is NOT forever.
The Bible says it this way:
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…”
It is so easy to lose our focus when we are drowning in debt, tragedy or pain. Overwhelming circumstances can cloud our vision. If the enemy can convince us that we will never be able to ___________ (fill in the blank based upon your own life circumstances)….then we have lost the battle. NEVER give up! NEVER quit! NEVER let the enemy convince you that you’re not worth it, that you aren’t good enough, or can’t have more than enough.
For everything there is a season. A time to heal and a time to break down. But you can’t heal if you aren’t sick. You can’t build up if you haven’t been broken down. It is during these times of great challenge that we can run to his sheltering wing and find comfort from the storm. We can build a relationship on the Rock, and we can come out on the other side better than ever.
Remember…scars can remind us of where we have been, but they don’t have to dictate where we are going.
Right now is NOT forever. Put on your battle gear and head out into the storm. Great things aren’t just on the other side of the battle, but found within the eye of the storm. For in our weakness HE is strong!
