Are you having a hard day? I have great news:
Psalm 30:1, “I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and you healed me.”
Does someone seem to be getting the upper hand in your life? Treating you poorly? Taking credit for your work? Trying to make you look bad in front of others? Constantly looking for opportunities to humiliate you?
This promise tells us that our foes will not rejoice over us. God sees. It may look like right now they are winning. Everything looks shiny and wonderful on the outside…but God looks on the heart. And nothing is kept secret from him. He says that what is done in secret will be made known. He will shout it from the rooftops!
So, if you feel like you are constantly under someone’s thumb, can’t catch a break or unnecessarily ridiculed repeatedly…God has a bigger plan. Give your burden to him and watch as he takes you from the land of GOOD to the land of GREAT! He can heal the hole in your heart and renew a right spirit within you.
For greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world!
