Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels along the road of life? You are crying out for help and no one is listening? You feel alone and the burdens of this life are dragging you down? Hope seems all but lost?
Psalm 63 says, “O God, You are my God; early will I seek you: My soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for you in the sanctuary to see your power and your glory. Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. Thus I will bless you while I live; I will lift up my hands in your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips…”
When everything around you seems to be crashing down…look up. Take a deep breath. Cry out to God. You may not FEEL like he is listening, but faith is not a feeling….it’s a fact. Believe that he wants your very best and that he is orchestrating something so fantastic on your behalf, that you can’t even begin to imagine the blessing that is on the way.
Stop focusing on what has gone wrong, and start praising his holy name. We are told in the Bible to bless the Lord at all times, to seek him with our whole heart. And as you focus on praising God for the great things he continues to do in you and through you, the pain of the day begins to melt away.
YES! We all have bad days. Tragic days. Things no human should have to endure. Days that are permanently emblazoned on our memories. But in order to succeed in life and to live a full and healthy life…we MUST move on. We must leave the burden at the cross.
With God’s grace we can live a triumphant life in spite of what has happened to us or around us. God sees you. Seek him out and know that you will find him, no matter the day, the time, the hour or the location.
